The versatile FSC scanners meet your large-format scanning needs in photo-realistic colors, high-quality grayscale and crisp, clear black-and-white. Color is captured at 30 bits for maximum color precision, passing the best 24 bits of color data to the computer to enhance color fidelity

Features

The FSC models now support the latest in image enhancement techniques. 2D-filters for color sharpening, softening and blur provide superior results with a wide variety of input images. Image enhancement and processing is performed simultaneously and in real-time on individual aspects of the original with the Dual 2D-Adaptive enhancement features. Dual 2D-Adaptive enhancement is supported in the copy modes by the Contex WIDEimage scanning software and JETimage copy software. Enhancement includes ADL+ error diffusion halftoning, 2D-Adaptive foreground thresholding, 2D-Adaptive background suppression and 2D-Auto edge enhancement.

Single-pass color scanning with tri-linear CCDs, including onboard real-time color correction, color classification/feature extraction and compression of data.

The scanner automatically digitizes drawings up to 40 inches wide (E-Size/A0 oversize, scanwidth 36"/914mm). The straight-through document path handles all kinds of large color documents such as graphics art, pictures, posters, maps, charts, CAD drawings and GIS originals.

You select resolution - From 50 to maximum dpi (see table below), in one dpi increments - to match requirements. With variable resolution settings, you are assured optimum matching with color output peripherals e.g. inkjet, laser etc. 

Scans in 24-bit RGB color, Feature Extraction and Indexed color modes. Monochrome scanning in Graytone and B/W scanning modes.

FSC 

The FSC Color Scanners come in four models :

• FSC 3010 with a max resolution of 300 dpi
• FSC 5010 with a max resolution of 500 dpi
• FSC 6010 with a max resolution of 600 dpi
• FSC 8010 with a max resolution of 800 dpi

The easy user calibration of the scanner color transfer profile, by inserting the standard ANSI IT8 color reference sheet, ensures long term stability and repeatability of scans.

Standard ICC profile interfaces with Color Management Systems.

Scanning options include both changes to the white and black point, and color tone transfer of each of the three channels (RGB).

JETstream built-in color copying accelerator. (not on the FSC3010)

Double as both high quality color scanners and monochrome scanners capable of scanning even the most demanding originals.

The two-dimensional 2D-Adaptive thresholding, provides clean crisp scans from poor quality drawings, automatically compensating for varying background, faded areas and stains.

Unique Area Diffusion Logic (ADL) copies your most demanding B/W and Graytone originals with shades of gray. (not on the FSC3010)
