The affordable HP Designjet 130 printer series is a six-colour, multi-format printing solution that produces fade-resistant*, photo-quality images with stunning results. Save time and money by publishing colour prints in-house. With a C-size tray and automatic roll-feed capability** up to 24 inches, you can print postcard-size images, full-colour pages, or banner-size images. Print speeds up to 4mpp for B size in Normal mode help get the job done. Colour technologies from HP deliver reliable and accurate colour. Automatic Closed Loop Color (CLC) calibration ensures consistency, while automatic Pantone calibration, offset emulations, and CMYKplus support, available via an optional RIP, provide accurate and predictable colour. HP Color Layering technology produces a range of colours and smooth tonal transitions. Six printheads and individual ink cartridges mean fewer ink changes and no waste. Drivers with special graphic options are optimized to support both Mac and Windows printing.

Color images that lasts. New, exceptionally fade-resistant,* dye-based HP inks provide rich colour depth, minimal dot visibility, and uniform gloss. These inks, designed together with HP Premium Plus Photo and Proofing Gloss papers, produce images that resist fading longer than traditionally processed photos.* Professionals can rest assured that the images they create will maintain their impact.

The standard tray holds up to 100 sheets of C+-size media (up to A2+ size). The front bypass slot accommodates cut-sheet media up to 24 inches (625 mm) in width (D+/A1+ size). The rear bypass slot is designed to handle heavy and rigid HP media of weights up to 80 lb (300 g/m2). Use the automatic roll* to feed media up to 24 inches (625 mm) in width and 50 feet (15.24 m) in length.

Graphic designers who use Macintosh tools will appreciate the Apple ColorSync compatibility that ensures colour matching, with an optimized, full colour gamut, at every step during workflow. This tool is highly flexible, with colour management capabilities offered directly through your graphic applications, complete with automatic and full-manual control options.

Choose the media type that best conveys your concepts with durable HP media. The HP Designjet 130 printer series can handle stock in weights up to 80 lb (300 g/m2), as well as thick or rigid media (up to 0.02 inches, or 0.4 mm). Choose from a variety of media finishes, including HP Premium Plus Photo and Proofing Gloss and HP Photo Matte.

Add an optional* HP software RIP to expand your printing capabilities and achieve the most accurate color. The software RIP provides Adobe PostScript level 3 support and Automatic PANTONE calibration. The software also enables offset printing emulation in a variety of standards: EuroScale, SWOP, DIC, JMPA, and TOYO.
